Device Specific Changes:
- Etude: Op.11 No.1
- modified DT bindings for Pixel Thermal HAL
- DO NOT use a third party kernel without proper support for Pixel thermal hal
- Introduced Pixel Thermal 2.0 because Xiaomi thermal 1.0 is deprecated on android 11
- Ported HWC brightness control for display HAL
- brightness adjustment is now handled by hardware composer instead of light HAL
- it allows smooth and accurate brightness adjustment without hacking into frameworks
- Bumped Audio HAL to 6.0
- Switched to AOSP BT implementation
- Enabled v1.3 drm plugins
- Bumped fingerprint HAL to 2.2
- Switched to AOSP NFC 1.2
- Permissive SELinux for now
- Disabled forced encryption for now
- Dropped qti telephony injection
Known Issues:
Many things are still work-in-progress and may not be fully stable yet
- Screen recorder has frame drops
- Wireless Display can scan but may not connect successfully
- “OK Google” sound trigger does not work yet
Gapps and firmware are not included. Use firmware from MIUI Global Stable V12.0.1.0. Vendor is included.
